These Terms cover your use of humeband-official.website and the Hume Health app (together, the "Services"), run by Hume Health Corp ("we", "us", "our"). Placing an order, creating an account, or otherwise using the Services means you accept everything below.
1. Who Can Use This Site
You need to be 18 or older to order from humeband-official.website or set up a Hume Health account. The Services aren't intended for children, and we don't knowingly gather information from anyone under 13.
2. How Orders Are Handled
Submitting an order is an offer to buy a Hume Band 2.0 (plus any add-ons, such as the extended warranty) at the price displayed. We may decline or cancel an order at our discretion — for instance, if fraud is suspected, a price was listed incorrectly, or an item is out of stock — and you'll get a complete refund in that case.
Prices are listed in USD unless otherwise noted and can be adjusted without notice, though any change won't apply to an order already placed.
3. A Wellness Product, Not a Medical Device
The Hume Band 2.0 is a consumer wellness product intended to help you notice patterns in your own health and daily habits. It is not a medical device, hasn't been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration, and isn't meant to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Numbers like biological age, metabolic momentum, and illness-risk indicators are wellness estimates built from sensor data and internal algorithms — not a substitute for guidance from a physician or other qualified healthcare provider.
Always seek medical attention for anything urgent, no matter what the app shows, and don't make medical decisions based solely on Hume Band readings.
4. Account Responsibility
You're responsible for anything that happens under your Hume Health account, so keep your login information private. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to reverse-engineer or tamper with the hardware or software in ways that break the law, use the Services to infringe on anyone's rights, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to our systems.
6. Ownership of the Brand and Content
"Hume Band", "Hume Health", and related marks are trademarks belonging to Hume Health Corp. The device design, the app, and all content on this site are protected by copyright and related rights; reproducing any of it without our written permission is prohibited.
7. Warranty and Limitation of Liability
Outside of the specific warranty outlined in our Refund & Returns policy, the Services are provided "as is," to the maximum extent the law permits. Hume Health Corp is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages tied to your use of the product or Services, to the extent that limitation is allowed by law.
8. Resolving Disputes
Most issues can be sorted out quickly by reaching our support team directly, and we'd encourage you to try that route first. Any dispute that can't be resolved that way will be governed by the laws of the state where Hume Health Corp is headquartered, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
9. Updates to These Terms
We may revise these Terms periodically. When we do, the "Last updated" date above will reflect the change. Continuing to use the Services after a revision means the updated Terms apply to you.
