Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have over your data.
Last updated: June 2026
Health information calls for careful handling. This page explains, in plain language, what Hume Health Corp collects through humeband-official.website and the Hume Health app, how we use it, and what choices are available to you.
1. What We Collect
Information you give us directly
- Standard details — your name, email address, shipping address, and payment information — when you place an order or set up an account.
- Anything you tell us when reaching out to our support team.
Information generated by the device and app
- Biometric readings — heart rate, HRV, SpO2, skin temperature, sleep stages, movement — that power the figures displayed in the app, including Metabolic Momentum and biological age.
- Basic technical data — device model, app version, general usage patterns — that helps keep the service running smoothly.
2. How We Put It to Use
- Turning raw sensor readings into the trends and insights you see in the app.
- Processing and shipping your order, and handling any returns or warranty claims.
- Responding when you contact our support team.
- Refining our sensors and algorithms over time, usually with aggregated or de-identified data.
- Sending order-related notifications and, only if you've opted in, occasional product updates.
3. Your Data Belongs to You
Your biometric history is yours. Export it from the Hume Health app whenever you want, and if you'd like your account and its data deleted altogether, reach out to support — we handle deletion requests within 30 days, apart from records we're legally obligated to keep, such as order history for tax purposes.
4. When We Share Information
We don't sell your health data, full stop. It's shared only under these circumstances:
- Service providers that help us run our business — payment processors, shipping carriers, cloud hosting — under agreements limiting their use of the data strictly to delivering that service.
- Legal obligations, when we're required to disclose something under applicable law, regulation, or a valid legal request.
- A business sale, merger, or acquisition, should one take place, subject to the same privacy commitments described here.
5. How We Keep It Secure
Data is encrypted both in transit and at rest to industry standards, and access internally is limited to team members who genuinely need it for their work. No system can be made completely risk-free, but we take this seriously given the sensitivity of health data.
6. Cookies
Our site uses cookies to remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and get a general sense of how visitors use the site, so we can improve it. You're free to turn these off in your browser, though some features may not work as smoothly without them.
7. Your Privacy Choices
You can request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by reaching out through the contact details below. You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in every one we send. Depending on where you're located, you may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws, including the right to know what information we hold about you and the right to opt out of certain data-sharing practices.
8. Children's Privacy
We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13, and the Services aren't directed at children. If you think a child has shared information with us, let us know and we'll remove it right away.
9. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time, which will be reflected in the date shown at the top. For anything significant, we'll provide more visible notice — an in-app message or email, for example.
Questions about your privacy?
Contact us through the Hume Health app, or by email at the address on your order confirmation, to ask a question or exercise any of the choices described above.
