Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to a site that works well for everyone, assistive technology included.
Last updated: June 2026
Hume Health Corp wants humeband-official.website and the Hume Health app to be usable by every visitor, including people who rely on assistive technology. This page covers where things stand today and how you can flag anything that isn't working properly.
What We're Aiming For
Our goal is to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA across humeband-official.website. In practice, this covers things like:
- Meaningful alt text on images that convey information, not just decorative visuals.
- Text-to-background contrast that stays readable across the whole site.
- Complete keyboard access to menus, mobile navigation, and interactive elements like the FAQ accordion.
- Semantic markup and ARIA labeling, so screen readers correctly announce headings, buttons, and page sections.
- Layouts that hold up properly when text is enlarged or the page is zoomed.
This Is Ongoing Work
We don't consider this a one-time task — the site keeps changing, and our accessibility efforts need to keep up with it. If you hit a barrier anywhere on humeband-official.website or in the app, we genuinely want to hear about it.
How to Report a Problem
If assistive technology runs into an issue anywhere on the site, please let us know. It's helpful if you can share:
- The exact page or app screen where the issue happened
- A short description of what went wrong
- The assistive technology, browser, or device you were using at the time
We review every accessibility report quickly, and issues that block someone from browsing, learning about, or buying the product get top priority.
Areas Outside Our Direct Control
Certain parts of humeband-official.website, checkout being the main example, are powered by third-party services. We select vendors who take accessibility seriously, but we don't have full control over how their tools are built. If you run into a problem in one of these spots, tell us anyway — we'll follow up with the vendor or find another route that works for you.
